Therapeutic Approaches

Vidhya uses evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness and tailors them to suit her clients’ needs. She is also certified to teach the Mindfulness in Schools Project’s .b mindfulness curriculum to young people aged 11-18.

She believes that authenticity, safety, warmth, and trust are crucial in therapy – with a splash of humour. Vidhya values working collaboratively with youth, their families, and schools and empowering youth to navigate life’s journey and weather its storms.

Personal
