Background & Experience

Vicki uses an integrative approach to counselling, putting the client at the centre of each session and drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT).  She offers clients a confidential space to explore any issues that may be troubling them or causing emotional distress and will work collaboratively and respectfully with clients to increase their awareness and strengthen their resources to equip them to deal with life’s challenges.

Originally from the UK, Vicki has lived and worked in Singapore for seven years.  Prior to training as a counsellor, Vicki practised as a solicitor and has worked in London and Madrid as a corporate lawyer and a business manager.  Her experience has given her a good insight into the stress and demands of corporate life and the challenges of adjusting to expat life, as well as raising a family away from home.
