Background & Clinical Experience

Before coming to Thrive, Rachel was employed as a Behavioural Therapist at Nurturepods, working with young children presenting with autism and other cognitive and developmental delays. Prior to that, she got to know the assessment side of psychology when she interned at MindMatters Psychology Practice.

Therapeutic Approaches

Rachel has undergone a Social Thinking training course, and, supervised by Dr. Ronina Stevens, aids her clients in developing social competencies, self-regulation, social problem-solving abilities, and much more. She is also trained in basic Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Rachel is a family girl who admittedly loves spending time at home. In her spare moments, she likes to indulge her creative side — be that singing, playing various musical instruments, or getting stuck in some creative writing. The first aspiration she ever had was to publish a book, and she is still hoping to achieve that goal today.
