Background & Experience
Louise has been working in Singapore for over 8 years now and enjoys working with children of any age. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin and is a registered professional with both CORU in Ireland and AHPC in Singapore. She is adept at assessment and intervention to support children and their families with a variety of challenges, including
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD/Dyspraxia)
- Sensory Processing Disorder
- Attention-Deficit Disorder
- Handwriting difficulties
Louise takes a holistic approach to assessment and intervention, including the child and parents as collaborative members of the therapy process. She also often liaises with a variety of schools, and other professionals in supporting children and families which she works with.
Life-long learning is important to her practice and she regularly engages in training courses. She is a fully certified Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) Therapist and a certified Cogmed Provider, as well but not limited to basic DIR Floortime, Wilbarger DPPT and Zones of Regulation.
Outside of her clinical work Louise is an active volunteer in her community, both in Ireland and Singapore. One such activity is Club Rainbow is an organisation with supports local children with life-long medical conditions. She also was leading a team of therapists in Singapore over a three-year period, through a data collection study for an International Research project.
Louise will be joining our team to provide in house assessments as part of a multi-disciplinary approach.
