He develops a personalised treatment plan with clients, whilst making use of his training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Art Psychotherapy, Narrative Therapy, Transactional Analysis and Wellness Counselling.
Working with couples
Trained in IMAGO relationship counselling, Alex encourages a safe space for couples to explore and acknowledge conflict, rediscover connection and develop growth through their collective and personal processes. Developing practical take-home applications, tools and strategies aimed towards the couple’s goals.
In 2014, Alex opened his own private practice in South Africa. He then chose to diversify by studying for his masters in art psychotherapy in Singapore. He has a passion for vulnerable and marginalised communities, believing mental health care and compassion are rights for all.
